‘It’s A Black Thang 365 hair do’s in 365 days’

 Featuring 35 ‘Boo Hoo’ hair do’s from the ‘Boo Hoo’ Calendar.  A light hearted look at black women’s preoccupation with hair;

  a) Culturally ‘good hair’ and  ‘bad hair’,

  b) Career progression

Sometimes emulating hair styles of women in society that get the top jobs.

(Digital Print)

‘Beautiful’

Celebrating Afro Caribbean features which has been a cause of ridicule and discrimination; black skin, thick lips, wide nose and afro textured hair, are now an accepted ideals of beauty.

Unsung Heroes

These are woodcut prints depicting representations of friends, family and some of those in the community who have guided, assisted, enabled and inspired us.  In so doing, they have positively influenced our lives and made it possible for us in turn to help and inspire others.
